SHG and Acupuncture

So I had my sonohysterogram appointment this past Friday, and overall it was pretty uneventful. Very similar to my HSG except for the whole ultrasound instead of an x-ray machine. I think for me this one was slightly more painful than the HSG, but the procedure lasted 10 minutes tops, so it wasn’t too terrible. Part 1: Meeting the Doc

Today was the much anticipated first consultation with the reproductive endocrinologist (RE). We met with her physician assistant two months ago and were tasked to return with a rather lengthy list of blood work and imaging. With all the testing done and the majority of the records in hand, we went to meet our RE. In my head, I saw this meeting taking about an hour or so mostly reviewing test results and next steps. Strips and Smiley Faces

Since CD8 (Cycle Day 8), Lyn has been in the habit of taking ovulation strip tests immediately after getting home from work. Lyn has been on birth control for the past 2 years and this is our first time tracking ovulation so we had no idea what to expect. On Thursday, she took her first digital ovulation test and got a big circle sans smiley face. Friday (CD11), she came home with her usual routine of OPK strip and another digital test. Read More »
